The Spring 2017 Box 52 trip was another successful and enjoyable bus trip. While the day proved to be cloudy and a little chilly, the rain held off and the attendees were able to view and photograph many pieces of apparatus. Special thanks to Frank San Severino and Mike Boynton for coordinating the trip and to the officers and board members of the Box 52 Association for putting the trip on. Additional thanks go out to Bob Fitz Jr and John Galla for their participation in planning the trip. Mike Boynton also rode ahead of the bus in his personal vehicle to ensure departments were ready for our arrival. A big thank you goes out to all the chiefs and firefighters of the Amherst, Erving, Gardner, Gill, Greenfield, Leverett, Northfield, Orange, Pelham, Shutesbury and South Deerfield Fire Departments for thier assistance and hospitality. |
